Menu Plan Monday

Okay, last week
here is my issue
I didn't prepare
I had a great plan
but didn't shop
with a list
I NEED a list people
I have no memory
I was found more
than once this week
walking around aimlessly
by a store clerk
asking if I needed help
I'm sure I looked like
a deer caught in headlights
I mumbled something
and left
that's my confession

This week
well this week
I have a list
I didn't get to the
grocery store yet
but will tomorrow
I had all my ingredients
for today so I was ready to go

Monday

Creamy Pasta with Lemon Pepper Chicken
served with Salad
I finally did make this
keep an eye open
for the recipe review

Tuesday

Falafals in pita
with tons of veggies

Wednesday

BBQ Steak and Potatoes
with Salad
can you tell
my husband asked for this

Thursday

I'm gonna say Pizza
but I have no clue
my folks are coming home
and my sister and her kids
will be here also
so I have no clue
but will be ready to make Pizza

Friday

Perogies and Farmer Sausage
with salad
again, the husband
he requested this one

Saturday

Our 7 year anniversary
is on Sunday so we are
celebrating by going out
without children
the kids will have cereal
or something easy

Sunday

My family Christmas
we always celebrate
the Sunday before Christmas
as it can be such a busy time
with so many family commitments
my Dad will make
a wonderful Roast Beef
with mashed potatoes
cheesy broccoli
and Yorkshire pudding

Things are starting
to get busy
with the Christmas season
we have 4 family events
to plan for
and finish gift buying for
but I feel confident
things will run smoothly
