Today was a day of cuddling my sweet girly
How can a mom not love that
I'm sad she's not feeling well, but really, I'm loving the cuddle time
And little man has been so good and mostly understanding about it

I'm amazed at how I've been able to not feel overwhelmed with girly being sick
and not feel like things are piling up
I've been able to mostly keep up on things and give my kids the attention they have needed. God is good and this is only because of Him
The fact that I've not had to stress about work in the evenings and how good my week has gone is further confirmation that I made the right choice in quiting my job.

We spent the day cuddling, playing play dough and coloring

This is the first time girly has tried her hand with the crayons

the little man was more than willing to show her how it works

It was so sweet to watch them

the little man loves stickers and loves sticker on his face and hands

- not on paper

it's all good, I don't care as long as he's happy

I bought a huge bag of shredded Mozzarella Cheese in the US

- the savings is ridicules for Canadians

Little man and I put it into smaller bags to freeze for pizza making later

This is how he decided to clean up the cheese that didn't make it into the baggies

this guy loves his cheese, it was to funny

Pizza for dinner, the Costco pizza we bought previous and froze

I added peppers and tomato and some extra cheese

The perfect dinner for the day we had

This was so cute when the little man was feeding girly

she spit it out

but was willing to take a bite

I can see she's feeling better

the little man was asking to use his finger paints for a few days now
after dinner I let him
I was excited to think to use a pickle dish to put the paint in
I was not excited when he was unsupervised while I was bathing the girly and was brought to me completely green
It was a good thing I had the bath already going
Sadly I didn't get a picture of it

  1. Glad to hear that things are going so well with your decision to become a SAHM. When God talks to our heart, we're so much happier when we listen.
